1. REDUCE

Reduce the amount of well-used, beautiful furniture with good bones that goes into Chinese landfills each day, by working with artisans in China who specialize in reclaiming such old treasures.

2. REUSE

Reuse everything that can be reused from old furniture.  If the piece itself can't be salvaged, our vendors will take what they can to use in rebuilding items that can be saved.  Besides saving landfills, the finished products have character that can't quite be duplicated using strictly new materials.

3.  RESIST

Actually, we think you'll have trouble resisting all the resulting treasures we find and bring back to Seattle.  And, we're okay with that.
